WHAT WE DO?
The Erasmus+ MIGRIMAGE project is developing an Interuniversity Master’s Degree that will be taught from the academic year 2023/2024 in the partner universities of the project. This master’s degree explores the border contexts of these three southern European countries from a perspective that links cultural studies with specific areas that we have considered to be highly relevant for “communicating the border”: transmedia narratives from the perspective of social activism, digital journalism, geography, audiovisual communication and communication for social change.
You can access information about the master’s degree through this link.
MIGRIMAGE is developing an online course where you can learn about the different migratory realities of the borders of southern Europe, both in the south of Spain, including the land borders of Ceuta and Melilla, and in the south of Italy and the island of Lesbos in Greece. In this way we want to make accessible to the general public part of the knowledge that we will deal with in depth in the development of the master’s degree.

MIGRIMAGE also develops participatory content creation through a Web Documentary. Through the WEBDOC you will be able to access in an immersive way to new narratives about the borders of Southern Europe developed in a participatory and audiovisual way together with the local and migrant population that inhabits them.
